So I’ve read the whole series and Divergent and Insurgent are by FAR the best. These two are so amazing and Tris and Tobias make me smile so much 😍. Then they have the action packed life or death parts that leave you on the edge of your seat thinking will this be it? But it never is because main characters aren’t supposed to die (cough Allegiant cough) definitely the best book series I’ve read in a long while. My advice though, skip the last five chapters and the epilogue of Allegiant because the ending of that book is legit trash. I love everything else about the series though and this is a must read.

I enjoyed reading Insurgent (mostly because of how Tris continues to live and love Tobias) I really liked this book, but was a little bit upset that they had to go in a full on war. I thought that part was unnecessary until you actually understood the books plot and what it leads to....which is Alliegiant. 😫😫😫. Good plot, and excellently well done.

Many think that the second book of a series isnt good but i loved it. Tris is amazing, the poor girls parents both died on the same day but thanks to her wonderful boyfriend Tobias she made it. Jeanine Matthews is turning into this stalker/creepy/mad scientist who wont leave that poor Tris alone, Tris was so brave the whole book, and the ending was like OH MY GOSH I NEED TO READ BOOK 3!!! Just read it.

This book is one of the most captivating books that I have read and also one of the most beautiful. It describes hardships, romance, and war in a way that leaves you begging for more. I'm not sure how the "Allegiant" will tie off the Divergent series, but I expect the best from Veronica Roth. Ok. So it took me a bit longer to finish this book than its previous books. I blame vacation. While I give this book five stars, I definitely enjoyed Divergent more. Insurgent is full of a lot of angst between Tobias and Tris. There is a huge uproar in the Erudite taking control of all the factions. Not to mention Evelyn with the factionless trying to overthrow the Erudite. There was a lot going on here and the ending has left me like, uhhhh what?! I'm just glad I didn't have to wait for the last book like a lot of people had to do. It's a major cliffhanger ending and it is somewhat what I expected the "top secret" information to be. I'll be interested to see how Roth wraps this up!

Insurgent is an amazing book! I couldn't get my eyes off it! I literally tried to stop to eat dinner and goto school but the constant suspense had me in awe. I am 14 and Tris is an idealistic, spunky, ambitious, and brave character. Her and Four face a lot of challenges. Its SUCH A NAIL BITER! The movie is amazing as well, I saw it in 3D! (Theo Jame doesnt hurt either!)😍😜

I can't seem to get enough of Veronica Roth's fascinating stories. She is a truly gifted writer. "Divergent" was a really good book, and "Insurgent" was very well also. I'm am now in the process of reading "Allegiant" which is exceptionally good so far. I've brought all seven of the books that are with in the "Divergent series", which contain "Divergent", "Insurgent" , and "Allegiant". And then all four of the "four" stories which include, "Four: the initiate" , Four: the transfer , "Four: the son" ' and the last book four: the traitor. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes things such as The hunger games trilogy or the maze runner series. VERONICA ROTH IS AMAZING!

Insurgent fell short for this reader....

I read this in time for the movie release later this week. I'm glad I finished it but it wasn't without me wanting to pull my hair out at times. I didn't hate it but didn't exactly like it either. The story felt forced to me. The character development was pretty good in Divergent but with Insurgent picking up where Divergent left off, the conflict between Tris and Four made little sense to me. I appreciated the direction the story was going but I was wishing Tris and Four's blossoming relationship to be a soft place to land as a reader. I didn't get that from them. I also thought that the final moments for Jeanine were too abrupt. For someone hell-bent on absolute rule and the destruction of the Divergent, I wished there was more of a struggle there. I love to see the bad guy suffer before his/her demise. Because of my attitude toward this book, I will stop reading here and finish the series with the movie version of Allegiant.

I enjoyed reading Insurgent (mostly because of how Tris continues to live and love Tobias) I really liked this book, but was a little bit upset that they had to go in a full on war. I thought that part was unnecessary until you actually understood the books plot and what it leads to....which is Alliegiant. 😫😫😫. Good plot, and excellently well done.

Many think that the second book of a series isnt good but i loved it. Tris is amazing, the poor girls parents both died on the same day but thanks to her wonderful boyfriend Tobias she made it. Jeanine Matthews is turning into this stalker/creepy/mad scientist who wont leave that poor Tris alone, Tris was so brave the whole book, and the ending was like OH MY GOSH I NEED TO READ BOOK 3!!! Just read it.

This book is one of the most captivating books that I have read and also one of the most beautiful. It describes hardships, romance, and war in a way that leaves you begging for more. I'm not sure how the "Allegiant" will tie off the Divergent series, but I expect the best from Veronica Roth. Ok. So it took me a bit longer to finish this book than its previous books. I blame vacation. While I give this book five stars, I definitely enjoyed Divergent more. Insurgent is full of a lot of angst between Tobias and Tris. There is a huge uproar in the Erudite taking control of all the factions. Not to mention Evelyn with the factionless trying to overthrow the Erudite. There was a lot going on here and the ending has left me like, uhhhh what?! I'm just glad I didn't have to wait for the last book like a lot of people had to do. It's a major cliffhanger ending and it is somewhat what I expected the "top secret" information to be. I'll be interested to see how Roth wraps this up!

Insurgent is an amazing book! I couldn't get my eyes off it! I literally tried to stop to eat dinner and goto school but the constant suspense had me in awe. I am 14 and Tris is an idealistic, spunky, ambitious, and brave character. Her and Four face a lot of challenges. Its SUCH A NAIL BITER! The movie is amazing as well, I saw it in 3D! (Theo Jame doesnt hurt either!)😍😜

I can't seem to get enough of Veronica Roth's fascinating stories. She is a truly gifted writer. "Divergent" was a really good book, and "Insurgent" was very well also. I'm am now in the process of reading "Allegiant" which is exceptionally good so far. I've brought all seven of the books that are with in the "Divergent series", which contain "Divergent", "Insurgent" , and "Allegiant". And then all four of the "four" stories which include, "Four: the initiate" , Four: the transfer , "Four: the son" ' and the last book four: the traitor. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes things such as The hunger games trilogy or the maze runner series. VERONICA ROTH IS AMAZING!

Insurgent fell short for this reader....

I read this in time for the movie release later this week. I'm glad I finished it but it wasn't without me wanting to pull my hair out at times. I didn't hate it but didn't exactly like it either. The story felt forced to me. The character development was pretty good in Divergent but with Insurgent picking up where Divergent left off, the conflict between Tris and Four made little sense to me. I appreciated the direction the story was going but I was wishing Tris and Four's blossoming relationship to be a soft place to land as a reader. I didn't get that from them. I also thought that the final moments for Jeanine were too abrupt. For someone hell-bent on absolute rule and the destruction of the Divergent, I wished there was more of a struggle there. I love to see the bad guy suffer before his/her demise. Because of my attitude toward this book, I will stop reading here and finish the series with the movie version of Allegiant.

The first book was better! I often told myself “just give it a chance, keep reading”, then I found myself halfway through the book & felt too committed at that point to stop altogether. The book is boring, but the movie was good

So I’ve read the whole series and Divergent and Insurgent are by FAR the best. These two are so amazing and Tris and Tobias make me smile so much 😍. Then they have the action packed life or death parts that leave you on the edge of your seat thinking will this be it? But it never is because main characters aren’t supposed to die (cough Allegiant cough) definitely the best book series I’ve read in a long while. My advice though, skip the last five chapters and the epilogue of Allegiant because the ending of that book is legit trash. I love everything else about the series though and this is a must read.

I'm not sure how the "Allegiant" will tie off the Divergent series, but I expect the best from Veronica Roth. Ok. So it took me a bit longer to finish this book than its previous books. I blame vacation. While I give this book five stars, I definitely enjoyed Divergent more. Insurgent is full of a lot of angst between Tobias and Tris. There is a huge uproar in the Erudite taking control of all the factions. Not to mention Evelyn with the factionless trying to overthrow the Erudite. There was a lot going on here and the ending has left me like, uhhhh what?! I'm just glad I didn't have to wait for the last book like a lot of people had to do. It's a major cliffhanger ending and it is somewhat what I expected the "top secret" information to be. I'll be interested to see how Roth wraps this up!

I am 14 and Tris is an idealistic, spunky, ambitious, and brave character. Her and Four face a lot of challenges. Its SUCH A NAIL BITER! The movie is amazing as well, I saw it in 3D! (Theo Jame doesnt hurt either!)😍😜

I'm am now in the process of reading "Allegiant" which is exceptionally good so far. I've brought all seven of the books that are with in the "Divergent series", which contain "Divergent", "Insurgent" , and "Allegiant". And then all four of the "four" stories which include, "Four: the initiate" , Four: the transfer , "Four: the son" ' and the last book four: the traitor. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes things such as The hunger games trilogy or the maze runner series. VERONICA ROTH IS AMAZING!

Insurgent fell short for this reader....

I read this in time for the movie release later this week. I'm glad I finished it but it wasn't without me wanting to pull my hair out at times. I didn't hate it but didn't exactly like it either. The story felt forced to me. The character development was pretty good in Divergent but with Insurgent picking up where Divergent left off, the conflict between Tris and Four made little sense to me. I appreciated the direction the story was going but I was wishing Tris and Four's blossoming relationship to be a soft place to land as a reader. I didn't get that from them. I also thought that the final moments for Jeanine were too abrupt. For someone hell-bent on absolute rule and the destruction of the Divergent, I wished there was more of a struggle there. I love to see the bad guy suffer before his/her demise. Because of my attitude toward this book, I will stop reading here and finish the series with the movie version of Allegiant.

So I’ve read the whole series and Divergent and Insurgent are by FAR the best. These two are so amazing and Tris and Tobias make me smile so much 😍. Then they have the action packed life or death parts that leave you on the edge of your seat thinking will this be it? But it never is because main characters aren’t supposed to die (cough Allegiant cough) definitely the best book series I’ve read in a long while. My advice though, skip the last five chapters and the epilogue of Allegiant because the ending of that book is legit trash. I love everything else about the series though and this is a must read.

I enjoyed reading Insurgent (mostly because of how Tris continues to live and love Tobias) I really liked this book, but was a little bit upset that they had to go in a full on war. I thought that part was unnecessary until you actually understood the books plot and what it leads to....which is Alliegiant. 😫😫😫. Good plot, and excellently well done.

Many think that the second book of a series isnt good but i loved it. Tris is amazing, the poor girls parents both died on the same day but thanks to her wonderful boyfriend Tobias she made it. Jeanine Matthews is turning into this stalker/creepy/mad scientist who wont leave that poor Tris alone, Tris was so brave the whole book, and the ending was like OH MY GOSH I NEED TO READ BOOK 3!!! Just read it.

Insurgent is an amazing book! I couldn't get my eyes off it! I literally tried to stop to eat dinner and goto school but the constant suspense had me in awe. I am 14 and Tris is an idealistic, spunky, ambitious, and brave character. Her and Four face a lot of challenges. Its SUCH A NAIL BITER! The movie is amazing as well, I saw it in 3D! (Theo Jame doesnt hurt either!)😍😜

I can't seem to get enough of Veronica Roth's fascinating stories. She is a truly gifted writer. "Divergent" was a really good book, and "Insurgent" was very well also. I'm am now in the process of reading "Allegiant" which is exceptionally good so far. I've brought all seven of the books that are with in the "Divergent series", which contain "Divergent", "Insurgent" , and "Allegiant". And then all four of the "four" stories which include, "Four: the initiate" , Four: the transfer , "Four: the son" ' and the last book four: the traitor. I would recommend these books to anyone who likes things such as The hunger games trilogy or the maze runner series. VERONICA ROTH IS AMAZING!

Insurgent fell short for this reader....

I read this in time for the movie release later this week. I'm glad I finished it but it wasn't without me wanting to pull my hair out at times. I didn't hate it but didn't exactly like it either. The story felt forced to me. The character development was pretty good in Divergent but with Insurgent picking up where Divergent left off, the conflict between Tris and Four made little sense to me. I appreciated the direction the story was going but I was wishing Tris and Four's blossoming relationship to be a soft place to land as a reader. I didn't get that from them. I also thought that the final moments for Jeanine were too abrupt. For someone hell-bent on absolute rule and the destruction of the Divergent, I wished there was more of a struggle there. I love to see the bad guy suffer before his/her demise. Because of my attitude toward this book, I will stop reading here and finish the series with the movie version of Allegiant.

Veronica Roth knows how to get people's attention and when I finished the whole series I didn't want to let go. Insurgent just has so much action I love it and how tris and Tobias fall in love even more I just love it!😘 can't wait till the movie comes out going on the exact day!!

I loved Divergent! Roth had me intrigued until the very last word. I didn't think that the series could get any better until I read Insurgent. A thrilling ride from beginning to end, and also eye-opening to reality. I thought this series was going to be some cheap Hunger Games copy, but I was surprised at how different they are. Hats off to Veronica Roth and her amazing work!

I didn't read the book so I wouldn't spoil the movie but I did read the first one and was wondering why I t didn't connect with the movie...if I read this then when I watch the movie it would give me something totally unexpected just saying it was a good surprise

Literally sucked. Would've given it one star but I'm saving that for Allegiant. Not one character seemed to grow. Everything was static and is it just me or were all the characters super whiny? Loved the first book. This is just a mediocre sequel.

I finished this book so quickly because it is absolutely captivating. Now I am off to buy Allegiant, and finally finish this series that has completely taken over my thoughts for the past week.
